RISE
Resilient Inclusive Sexual Health Education & Therapy
WELCOME

NOTE: Equity, diversity and inclusion aren’t just buzzwords to us. At RISE, when we say we are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company, we walk the walk. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, relationship formation, age, marital status, veteran status or disability status. Because we want everyone to feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work every day. And because it’s the right thing to do.

Land Acknowledgement:
We are located on various stolen Lands that are sacred to a number of Indigenous Peoples, including but not limited to Tribes, Nations, and Peoples such as: Peoria, Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ, Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), and Meškwahki·aša·hina (Fox)
We thank the Indigenous Peoples for stewarding these Lands for generations. We pay respect to the Elders, past, present, and future.
For settlers on our team, we acknowledge we occupy and participate in exploitation of Land that are not native to us. As an organization, we advocate for Land Back and Indigenous Sovereignty. (Give the Land back).
We invite the mental health community to decolonize our ways of being and to dismantle colonial systems (our field included).
May we as a community consider our roles in the liberation, and restoration of Land, language, and culture for Indigenous Peoples globally.
